May

Hello May! We’re a week in and the weather is as stormy as ever! Fitting that Weathervane is our scent of the month! A fresh summer fragrance - full of salty air, light musk, and rich minerality. Weathervane is complex and slightly mysterious…it is that lighter, cool air after a storm that smells so good!

Fresh Rain + Ozone + Salt

We first released this scent in the spring of 2023 and have had many requests for it to return! Available in our Wax Box subscription for this month it is the perfect time to try it out!

On another note - weekend number one of Spring Junkstock is in the books and we’re prepping for weekend number two! Hemingway was the top seller overall for the first weekend followed closely by our new Vintage Lemonade! We can’t wait to see what our top sellers turn out to be for weekend 2. This is the event we look forward to all year and is the largest vendor show we do. If you’ve never been - GO! There is so much to look at and so many great vintage pieces and handmade/repurposed items it’s always worth the trip.

This month is one of the busiest we have planned - right after Junkstock we start prepping for our very own Uni-Place Maker’s Market that is happening Sunday, May 19th from 10am-2pm right outside our storefront along Saint Paul Ave. between N. 48th - N. 47th! We’re looking forward to working with all the local vendors we’ve gathered from Lincoln and surrounding areas - including some amazing artists from right here in our own neighborhood! The Uni-Place Creative Arts District is getting up and running to bring this historic neighborhood back to its’ former glory! So much charm here it’s time to revive it and we’re happy to play a small part in that.
